Family, Friend and Neighbor Appreciation Week is an opportunity to celebrate the over 5 million FFN caregivers who look after 11.5 million children each year. The celebration of FFN Appreciation Week intentionally begins with National Grandparents’ Day to recognize the millions of grandparents who support our communities and care for young children. We invite you to help us raise awareness and show gratitude for the invaluable contributions of FFN care and caregivers to our communities and society.

Over the past several months, the Home Grown team has worked with provider leaders and our advisory communities to develop a set of principles for what a universal child care system should look like when it fully includes home-based child care. The result is our first draft of a shared vision: Universal Child Care, Built From Home.
Home Grown has established and will lead the Nourishing Care Community of Practice (CoP) for state policy advocates who work across care, food, and economic stability issue areas
