The federal Administration of Children and Families has released the Early Head Start Expansion and Early Head Start- Child care Partnership Grants funding opportunity proposal announcement. It explicitly encourages the participation of family child care providers. Home Grown believes integration with Head Start/Early Head Start offers a critical opportunity to improve the quality of home-based child care and bolster the sustainability of providers, while enabling Head Start to meet its mission to serve the neediest young children in the country.
Applications are due on September 21, 2020.
We are partnering with the Ounce of Prevention and Early Education Achievement Consultants to provide support.
